This policy explains what The House of Interiors Pvt. Ltd. does with your personal data when you use this website or engage us for a project. If anything here is unclear, email hello@thehouseofinteriors.in and we will explain it in plain language.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: your name, phone number, email address and city.
- Project details: home type, scope, budget range, possession timeline and any message you send.
- Cost calculator inputs and the estimate generated from them, when you ask us to send it to you.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the campaign that brought you here.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a design consultation.
- To send your booking confirmation and estimate by email and WhatsApp, where you have opted in.
- To deliver and service your project, including warranty claims.
- To improve our website and understand which of our pages are useful.
WhatsApp and email
- We message you on WhatsApp only where you have ticked the consent box on a form.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp, or by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Transactional messages about a project you have booked — schedules, confirmations, service updates — continue regardless, because you need them.
Who we share it with
- Our own design, production and delivery teams working on your project.
- Service providers who operate on our behalf: email delivery, WhatsApp Business API providers and hosting.
- Lending partners, only where you apply for EMI and only with your explicit consent.
- We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry data is kept for three years from your last contact with us.
- Project and warranty records are kept for the warranty period plus three years, because we need them to honour claims.
- You can ask us to delete your data sooner, subject to any legal or contractual obligation to retain it.
Your rights
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your data, or to stop using it for marketing.
- Withdraw consent for WhatsApp or email marketing at any time.
- To exercise any of these, email hello@thehouseofinteriors.in and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
- We use essential cookies to make the site work, and session storage to remember your saved designs and campaign attribution on this device.
- We do not set advertising cookies without your consent.
Security
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled systems.
- Access to enquiry data is limited to staff who need it to do their job.
- No system is perfectly secure, but we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
